#34: What the hail!
9.16.2018
Another first for me this weekend; I saw hail for the first time ever! I had to go outside and catch it like it was snow since we don't get that in Florida either...
After a stressful first half of the week with lots of studying for my Monday exam and losing half to my hair on Tuesday to a hairdresser who doesn't know the difference between 2 and 6 inches, I had a relaxing second half of the week with my "family" in Mornington. We took Amelie to her swimming and ballet lessons, ran errands, watched a few movies, and just had fun hanging out. We showed Amelie High School Musical for the first time but she was so tired after a long day that she fell asleep 20 minutes in! I, however, watched the whole thing and still know every word to every song, of course! Tomorrow we're going down to the Mornington Pier for brekkie before I have to go back to school.
There's only 2 weeks left of lectures and then only about 2 more weeks till my exams are finished!! I can't believe time has flown like this!!! I can't wait to be done for the semester and get to relax for the next month before going home (sadly). With the end of the semester coming so quickly, I've been overwhelmed with work the last few weeks. But, I'll be back to more exciting adventures soon! In the next couple weeks I'll be finishing up classes plus going to St. Kilda and the Grampians, so stay tuned!! ;)
