After a stressful week of classes, there's honestly nothing better than coming to my second home in Mornington! I brought homework and a list of class notes to take but I should've known I'd be too busy having fun to do any of them!
Saturday morning started before the sun even came up as I FaceTimed into my Kosove Society meeting back home. They're probably the only group I would get up for at 6am on a Saturday (thanks to the time difference)!! It was so good to see a piece of home again after so long. For the afternoon , I went out to a hip little cafe with one of Michele's best friends, Kelly, to finally catch up since seeing her last about 2 months ago. We stopped on the way back at Mills Beach Lookout (see picture above) to enjoy the view!
To take advantage of the beautiful weather on Sunday, we had a girls day down the coast of Sorrento! We stopped at Back Beach to take some silly selfies and play in the sand. Of course, I couldn't resist getting closer to the water and, you guessed it, got a teensy bit soaked by a freezing wave... Next, we headed down to Portsea to explore the trails and beach views of Point Nepean National Park. We finished the day with a delicious dinner and family movie time (Ocean's 8 and Deadpool 2)!! Not looking forward to going back to school tomorrow, goodbye is always the worst part :( But, I'm already looking forward to next time!
