#48: It's not goodbye.
11.13.2018
Well, the day has come and my time here is up for now. Wow, what an experience. Just a year ago when I started my study abroad application, I wasn’t sure if I actually had the guts to submit it. Spending months by myself in a new place 10,000 miles away from home? Now looking back, not a single ounce of me regrets jumping across my comfort zone to go on this adventure.
To Michele, I could never repay you for everything you have done for me in such a short time. You always offered to do my laundry when I came over from uni, you never let me go back hungry (since I had to cook at uni and that’s not one of my strengths), and always comforted me when I felt homesick. I can say for sure that I wouldn’t have enjoyed my time as much without you there. I am so grateful we have you in our lives now (and forever).
Now it’s time for the long and sad (yet also exciting), journey home. I’m not quite ready to leave but I didn’t have much choice since I only have 2 more days left of my visa anyway ha! It’s heartbreaking to leave everyone but I’m excited to be home after 5 months. I can’t wait to see my parents, my puppies, and all my friends and family.
Well, that’s it for me. I’ve loved getting to share my adventures with you. Thanks for tagging along :') Until next time!
