#38: "Study" Week
10.7.2018
Before I start, I'll go ahead and explain SWOTVAC so you aren't confused anymore.
It stands for "Study Without Teaching Vacation". More simply, it's the week after classes are over before exams start. It's technically for studying, except most people do anything but. To avoid the craziness of the library this week, I went to Mornington instead. I got a little work done here and there but about half the time was spent watching This Is Us. Michele and I watched the entire first season in 3 days! Wow is that show an emotional rollercoaster!!! You'll laugh, smile, and cry your eyes out all within about 2 minutes! Saturday was another stunning day in the 60s with perfectly sunny skies! So, we went over to the Red Hill Market (like the Cocoa Village craft fair on steroids for my friends back home) to browse through some homemade crafts in between all the free samples! Next, we drove down to Flinders, Mornington Peninsula National Park, and Rosebud Pier to soak up the sun and fresh air along the sandy beaches. Sunday was just as beautiful so we spent the afternoon relaxing in the sand while listening to the waves and some music down the street at Mills Beach.

Now that my first exam is less than a week away, it's really time to buckle down on my studying. So, I won’t be doing anything exciting enough to post on here until they’re over next week! Check back later this month for more exciting adventures. I’ll be going to the Sunshine Coast and back to Cairns once exams are over!
